Springh Farms

Springh Farm Story:
We plant, water and rely on mother nature. We nurture and grow in the soil some of the best vegetables in the world. We pack ship and sell our product at the Ontario food terminal, and stores throughout Ontario. We chat, answer questions, and fill your bags at the Innisfil Farmers' Market. We are Springh Farms vegetable growers in the Holland Marsh. My in laws immigrated to Canada over 30 years ago from Guyana. They purchased a farm in the Holland Marsh and have ever since been growing vegetables. They started with five acres and now the farm has grown to over 30 acres of the most fertile growing land in Ontario. My husband and myself have now created our own little business Springh Farms. We have been selling produce at various Farmers Markets for about ten years now. We started at the Markham and the Distillery District Farmers Market and for the past few years have been at the Bradford Farmers Market Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 1:00pm. My husband Shane does the seeding, plowing, delivering, and some of the picking. He also delivers to the food terminal three nights a week. We employ 5 migrant workers who come to the farm from various parts of Mexico. Most of them have been working along side of us for more than ten years now. Our name Springh Farms (thanks dad for creating it for us!) is a combination of my husbands family name Singh and his parents first initials of their first names Peter and Rita. It is a name that represents Springh Farms roots and heritage over the past 30 years. Our vegetables are always picked fresh the day that they are delivered or sent out to you at the Farmers Market!
